RAPP BNGO

DJ Seith presents RAPP BNGO at Sault Ste. Marie Museum in Sault Ste. Marie, ON as part of Fringe North Festival.

RAPP BNGO is an interactive hip-hop DJ performance, where the audience is invited to participate in a ‘no stakes, no prizes’ game of bingo. In place of a traditional caller calling numbers, the calls are made by a live DJ using the words from real hip-hop records, and audience members each receive bingo cards that contains words and lyrics from the songs. There are also optional RAPP BNGO markers on sale at the merch table. Once everyone is seated, the game begins and the DJ begins mixing, with the words on the cards appearing via overhead projection as they get played in real-time through the speakers. Heady beats, sharp lyricism, and marker ink will flow during the one-hour performance, with short mid-point intermission. Winner of the Fringe North Fantastic Fringer Award for the Live category in 2022, as voted on by attendees.
