DJ Seith completed the twelfth and final tape in the venerated Tape Club monthly mixtape cassette series in December of 2021. The hand-dubbed tapes were made entirely in his studio. He would cut stamps out and hand-stamp each tape’s artwork. Typically, each cassette would contain a DJ mix. But when December’s tape was sent out, club members were treated to something different – “True Taxi In Gentle Rain”, a full-fledged concept EP with Ben FM, with production sampled entirely from Moody’s “The Gentle Rain”. It was not long before images of the extremely limited cassette were posted online and word spread quickly about this EP across social media. Only the club members heard the music. Seith remained quiet about plans for a wide release of the EP for years.
Finally, the wait is over. DJ Seith & Ben FM’s “True Taxi In Gentle Rain” EP is now available for pre-order on cassette with digital download code. The cassette comes in a deluxe box that transforms into a papercraft taxi.

Intrigued, the passenger encourages the driver to share more, and slowly uncovers a shocking picture of the dark side of Richmond.
